When you specify the carvone levels for your SunWest dill oil, you can be certain you'll get those levels, exactly. The natural characteristics of the product will never be compromised to accomplish that.

The criterion for determining the quality of dill oil is the carvone level specified by the user. Traditionally, carvone concentration has been adjusted with the use of diluents such as limonene. However, limonene and other fillers are often petroleum based, causing undesirable, atypical odors in dill oil.

These diluents also compromise the balance of other natural components in the oil, altering the oil's true consistency. SunWest believes the user should expect and receive an all-natural oil that meets or exceeds the customers’ specifications. SunWest adjusts their carvone levels by using the variations in carvone from one field to the next, and with crop management, such as harvesting at different stages of plant maturity.

Because our dill weed oil is 100% natural, with no diluents or fillers, many of our customers report using less of our product, saving them money, and giving them a better flavor.

SunWest maintains a large inventory of dill oils; we’re one of the world’s largest producers. This gives our customers year round, just-in-time inventory. We ship in either 55 gallon drums or 5 gal pails.

To produce oil with a specified carvone level, appropriate selections from the inventory are blended. Concentrations are adjusted with mathematical precision, assuring you of the highest quality and unparalleled consistency.
