Pickle Packers International - A Great Culture!

Whenever someone asks me what I do one of the things I tell them is about the PPI. And without fail, it always brings a smile to their face! The PPI is a fantastic trade organization that brings together and represents all corners of the pickled vegetable industry and we are proud to be a part of it!
To us they’re a great bunch of people with a supportive and collaborative culture. We get together twice a year to meet and discuss all things pickle. It’s a lot of fun and we get to meet all kinds of people in different roles in the pickle industry from all over the world! There’s a lot of value for us as an industry when we meet to learn about market trends, scientific research, food safety etc, not to mention great networking opportunities.
And as a major supplier of flavor ingredients there’s a lot of value for SunWest Ingredients, too. We get to chat with customers and friends, meet new people, hear from folks what things are important for their business and learn more about how we can support the industry.
Being the major producer of dill weed oil since the start of commercial production decades ago, we value very much our long relationship with and support of the PPI and the pickle industry. If you are involved in the pickle industry in any way but are not a member, we highly recommend joining!
